Harding, Shymanski & Co., P.S.C. is seeking a Resource Planning Supervisor in Evansville, IN to manage the Tax department's forward-looking resource plan and master scheduling. The role blends staffing, training, and process improvement to optimize client service capacity.

The position emphasizes supervisory leadership, cross-team collaboration, and leveraging reporting tools to forecast demand and improve efficiency. Evansville-based, on-site engagement with a focus on long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of scheduling, resource planning, or similar analytical coordination in a professional services environment.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience in a public accounting firm or tax department strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and project management skills with capacity planning.
• Proficiency in data, reporting tools, and dashboards; Excel required; Power BI or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the master schedule for the upcoming calendar year.
• Meet with Primaries during the summer to review upcoming busy season engagements and capacity.
• Coordinate return timing with other departments to avoid cross-service-line conflicts.
• Communicate open capacity for summer work to department leadership.
• Train staff on scheduling systems and department processes; coaching for high-WIP periods.
