Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in scheduling, resource planning, capacity management, or similar analytical coordination role.

Responsibilities

• Develop the master schedule for the upcoming calendar year.
• Meet with Primaries during the summer to review upcoming busy season engagements, timing, hours, complexity, and preassignment preferences.
• Coordinate return timing with master schedule to avoid cross-service-line conflicts.
• Communicate open capacity for summer work to department leadership.
• Update and maintain skill matrices for preparers based on training.
• Identify capacity constraints and propose solutions before they become problems.
• Provide leadership with staffing, recruiting, and workload information to guide decisions.
• Coach tax staff on scheduling systems, workflows, and processes.
• Lead process improvement and automation projects within Resource Planning.
