Harding, Shymanski & Co., P.S.C. in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Resource Planning Supervisor for our Tax Department. You will own the forward-looking resource plan, balancing core planning with staff training and operational improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years in scheduling, resource planning, capacity management, or similar role.
• Public accounting or tax department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the master schedule for the upcoming calendar year.
• Review upcoming busy season engagements with Primaries, including timing and hours.
• Coordinate return timing with other departments to avoid conflicts.
• Communicate open capacity for summer work to leadership.
• Maintain skill matrices for preparers based on training.
• Identify capacity constraints and propose solutions.
• Provide staffing and workload insight to leadership.
• Train staff on scheduling systems and processes.
• Coach preparers to improve speed and reduce WIP.
• Lead process improvements and automation in Resource Planning.
