Job summary

Intuit is seeking year‑round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on‑site at TurboTax locations in the United States. You will deliver full‑service tax return preparation, expert advice, and seamless collaboration with specialists across bookkeeping, payroll and planning to serve in‑person and virtual clients.

As the local face of TurboTax, you will drive community engagement, build a client base, and provide ongoing year‑round support with Intuit resources and marketing tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise: Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments).
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships: develop long‑term trust with clients and expand the customer portfolio.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: ensure professional, empathetic service and clear tax guidance in person and via video tools
