Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will perform full-service tax return preparation, offer expert tax advice, and coordinate with specialists to deliver end-to-end client solutions.

You will also grow the local TurboTax client base, engage with the community, and leverage Intuit resources to foster long-term relationships. Roles require on-site presence and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to build and grow a local client base for TurboTax.
• Develop relationships and connect clients to complementary Intuit services such as bookkeeping and payroll.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring clients leave with clear guidance and forward-looking tax plans.
