Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated year‑round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide full‑service tax return preparation, expert tax advice, and software support while collaborating with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver an end‑to‑end Intuit experience.

You will engage with local communities to grow the client base, foster lasting relationships, and represent TurboTax in marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising using your name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations and helping with planning.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Act as a local business owner mindset to grow the client base and lead community events with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships - Develop long‑term trust and repeat business with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professional service and clear guidance across in‑person and virtual interactions.
