Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at a TurboTax location in the United States. You’ll provide hands-on tax preparation, advisory services, and software support, while connecting clients with a broader Intuit ecosystem for year‑round support.

You will grow the local client base, participate in community events, and collaborate with a team of tax professionals to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, 20+ hours per week.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as a community ambassador by building and growing a local customer base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with related Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial pictures and guide them to the right Intuit solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience with professional and empathetic service.
