Intuit is hiring year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and preparation services at one of our TurboTax locations across the United States. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize refunds and plan for the future, while engaging with the local community to grow the TurboTax footprint.

This role emphasizes local partnerships, events, and effortless adoption of Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Mon-Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to complete all required training and development, including compliance and cross-training.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Guide clients on future tax planning and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Build a local customer base through outreach, community events, and partnerships.
• Act as a trusted guide for clients, introducing them to complementary Intuit services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via video tools.
