Job summary

Intuit seeks year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts for new TurboTax locations across the United States. Serve as trusted advisors, delivering tax preparation and expert guidance to clients in a local community setting.

You will proactively build a local client base, organize community events, and coordinate with marketing to raise brand awareness. The role emphasizes holistic tax advisory and strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• EA with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite 8:00–17:00 local time, 20+ hours/week; hours may scale during peak seasons.
• Must complete training and development as determined by the business (compliance, up-skilling, cross-training).
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and may have name/picture used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence; create tax content per policy.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow local customer base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships; be the local face of TurboTax.
• Coordinate with TurboTax marketing to create opportunities for engagement and brand awareness.
• Identify opportunities to introduce clients to Intuit solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning, Credit Karma).
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with in-person and video interactions; address client inquiries.
