Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide end-to-end tax prep, give expert advice, and partner with specialists to cover business, bookkeeping, payroll and advisory services.

You’ll grow the local client base, lead community initiatives, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience while using Intuit marketing support and software tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, with 20+ hours per week and standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to build a local client base and drive growth.
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial picture and connect them with Intuit solutions.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences in person and via TurboTax tools.
