Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level team member to support tax interview processes and client service at the franchise level. You will enter client and W-2 information into the tax program, assist in assembling tax returns, obtaining signatures, and reviewing the product with clients.

Strong communication and basic math skills are essential, along with experience using Windows-based programs. This role may involve additional state/local requirements and diverse duties as assigned by the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
