Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an entry-level associate to support tax interviews and returns. You will enter client and W-2 information into our tax program and help assemble the tax return, secure signatures, and review the finished product with the client.

You'll build strong client relationships while delivering accurate bookkeeping and ensure compliance with state and local requirements. A high school diploma is required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Strong communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Ability to use Windows-based programs for tax work.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, and review results with the client.
• Complete bookkeeping procedures and ensure accurate tax documents.
• Provide superior service to all H&R Block clients.
