Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Manager in Core Tax Services to advise clients on tax implications of business strategies and optimize tax compliance. You will lead tax planning, coordinating with assurance, and communicating complex tax issues clearly to clients.

The role involves supervising associates, developing tax strategies, and contributing to business development within tax specialties. A strong background in corporate, state, and international taxation is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics required; Master's in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
• Five+ years of relevant tax experience, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and client-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax implications of business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Manage tax provision processes and communicate results to clients and Assurance teams.
• Lead tax consulting, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration with client service teams.
