Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and direct client engagement at a US TurboTax location.

You’ll work with a cross-functional team to serve in-person and virtual clients, expanding local business and deepening client relationships through holistic tax advisory. You will partner with specialists in bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver end-to-end solutions, while delivering exceptional customer experiences

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years preparing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20+ hours per week.
• Willing to complete required training and wear uniforms.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling a range of personal and business tax scenarios.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds and plan future taxes.
• Lead local growth, outreach, events, and networking to build a sustainable client base.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem across bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional, empathetic service.
