Job summary

Intuit is hiring TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide tax advice and personal guidance at a local office. You will help clients with simple to complex returns, uncover deductions, and guide them toward related Intuit services to support their financial goals.

This role requires onsite availability, a focus on community engagement, and readiness to upskill in bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services. A customer-first mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid 1040 federal/state returns (30+ per season) using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, typical hours 8:00–17:00, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Must complete required training and may have added program requirements.
• Wear Intuit uniforms and be comfortable using your name/picture for advertising.
• Interested in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating tax content.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, from simple to complex cases.
• Lead discovery sessions, deductions optimization, and future tax planning guidance.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow TurboTax presence.
• Organize local events, workshops, and networking to generate client engagement.
• Guide clients to Intuit solutions like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and address client questions.
