Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to prepare taxes, advise clients, and grow a local client base at TurboTax locations in the United States. You will work with a team of tax professionals to deliver end-to-end services, from discovery through final review, blending in-depth tax knowledge with customer-focused service.

This onsite role emphasizes building relationships, leveraging Intuit resources, and expanding services such as bookkeeping and payroll within the local community.

Qualifications

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or practicing attorney with tax prep experience preferred.
• Must have a valid PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual returns per season using professional tax software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training from Intuit.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time.
• Must complete training and development as required; uniforms and advertising use of name may be required.
• Interest in building local and online TurboTax presence; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond simple filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax expertise and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business returns.
• Identify deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning advice.
• Act as a local community ambassador to grow the client base and participate in local events.
• Connect clients to the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, planning, Credit Karma) as appropriate.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with empathy and professionalism.
