Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to join new TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will work on-site, performing full-service tax return preparation, providing expert advice, and guiding clients through complex tax scenarios while collaborating with a broader team of specialists. In addition to tax preparation, you will grow TurboTax’s client base in your local community, engage in grassroots marketing, and help connect clients with bookkeeping,

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on Google.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and plan taxes.
• Identify opportunities to upsell bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services.
• Build local client base through outreach and community events.
• Deliver end-to-end Intuit experience with team collaboration.
• Use government websites and professional tools to deliver accurate solutions.
• Be the local face of TurboTax in the community.
