Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3–5 years of tanker repair experience to join our maintenance team. You’ll diagnose failures, service tanks and repair trailers, ensuring DOT HM183 compliance and safe operation. Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Pay: $18.00–$35.00/hour, with periodic raises. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off and holidays, HSAs, and tool purchase programs to support your career.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tanker repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose failures and repair mechanical or electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
• Welding experience (TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon) is optional.
• Must align with DOT HM183 and hazmat standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair trailer suspensions.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 to 5 years of tanker repair experience!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Pay Range: $18.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
