Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT inspection certified Trailer Mechanic for our Denver, CO location. The role requires 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience and hands-on skill in diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; pay is experience-based with periodic rate reviews. Located at 4850 E 74th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022, this position offers competitive benefits including 401(k) match, health options, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanic with 3+ years tank trailer repair experience.
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Denver, CO branch at 4850 E 74th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022.
• Pay range dependent on experience; skill-based reviews every 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank service and repair, including suspension installation and repair.
• Repair air brake systems and related components.
• Weld aluminum, stainless, or carbon steel (optional).
• Inspect tanks and trailers to ensure DOT HM183 and hazmat standards are met.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 or more years of tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This position is for our Denver, CO branch at 4850 E 74th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022.

Pay Range: dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
