Depot Connect International seeks DOT-registered inspector mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience to join our team in a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for increases based on performance.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on tank trailers, tank service and Betts valves, suspension work, air brake systems, and TIG welding.

Qualifications

DOT-registered inspector mechanics with 3+ years in tank trailer repair.
Ability to diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical or other systems on tank trailers.
Tank service and repair including Betts valves and gaskets.
Trailer suspension installation and repair.
Experience with air brake systems and repairs.
Use of handheld diagnostic tools and tablets.
TIG welding (aluminum, stainless or carbon).
Inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT HM183 hazmat standards.

Responsibilities

Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers.
Perform tank service and repair including Betts valves and gaskets.
Install/repair trailer suspension and work with air brake systems.
Utilize handheld diagnostic tools and tablets; basic tech tasks.
Weld TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon as required.
Inspect tanks and trailers to ensure DOT HM183 hazmat compliance.

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
Tank service and repair, Betts valves, gaskets
Trailer suspension installation and repair
Experience with air brake systems and repairs
Ability to use handheld diagnostic tools, tablets, basic tech skills
