Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a qualified Trailer Mechanic for our Denver, CO branch at Commerce City. The role requires DOT inspection certification and at least 3 years of tank trailer repair experience.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and related trailer systems, perform tank service and suspension work, and ensure DOT HM183 compliance and hazmat standards while following a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3+ years of tank trailer repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with air brake systems and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, or other tank trailer systems.
• Perform tank service and repair and trailer suspension installation/repair.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to ensure DOT HM183 compliance and hazmat standards.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3 or more years of tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This position is for our Denver, CO branch at 4850 E 74th Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022.

Pay Range: dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
