Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is hiring a DOT inspection certified mechanic for our N Little Rock, AR location. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and various systems on tank trailers, including tank service and suspension work, ensuring DOT HM183 compliance.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with pay between $19.00 and $36.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• DOT inspection certified mechanic with 3+ years tanker repair experience.
• Experience with tank trailers and tank service is required.
• Familiarity with DOT HM183 and hazmat standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers.
• Perform tank and trailer repairs, including suspension installation and repair.
• Inspect tanks and trailers to ensure compliance with DOT standards.

We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 3+ years of tanker repair experience at our N Little Rock, AR location!

Address: 2228 Central Airport Rd, N. Little Rock, AR

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $19.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
