Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a DOT HM-183 certified Tank Trailer Mechanic for our Louisville, KY branch. Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay ranges from $19.00 to $39.00 per hour, depending on experience, with skill-based reviews every six months. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing tank trailer mechanical, electrical, and suspension systems, servicing tanks, and ensuring DOT HM-183 and hazmat compliance.

Qualifications

• DOT HM-183 certified mechanic with tank trailer repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on tank trailers.
• Inspect tanks and trailers to meet DOT HM-183 hazmat standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose failures and repair mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers.
• Repair tank service, trailers suspension, and air brake systems.
• Perform TIG welding as applicable and ensure compliance with DOT HM-183 standards.

Tank Trailer Mechanic

We are currently searching for DOT HM-183 certified mechanics with tank trailer repair experience!

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

This position is for our Louisville branch at 3808 Bells Lane, Louisville, KY 40211.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $39.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM-183, hazmat)

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
