Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Foreman/Tank Builder to lead field teams on tank construction projects nationwide. You will supervise sites, coordinate with customers, vendors and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and productivity.

Welding ability is a plus, with training and advancement opportunities available. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and physically capable of fieldwork.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass background checks.
• Welding ability is a plus and certification/training is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and on-site leadership for construction projects.
• Act as main point of contact with customers, vendors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Understand contract scope and identify field changes (change orders).
• Lead safety initiatives and foster a safety culture on the jobsite.
• Lead by example to ensure quality and minimize rework.
• Support field productivity and keep projects on budget and schedule.
• Provide guidance and training to crew; assist in recruitment and performance evaluations.
• Ensure accurate field paperwork and daily timekeeping.
