Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to join our nationwide field crews. You will perform arc and torch cutting, weld on above-ground tanks, and use various lifting and power tools across client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Eligible to work in the United States; pass background checks.
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc cutting, torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate power tools and lifting equipment safely.
• Weld plate with SMAW and FCAW processes and related techniques.
• Read basic erection/fabrication drawings and follow plans.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in job safety analyses.
