Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a Tank Builder / Welder for nationwide projects. The role requires welding expertise, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with a field crew. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to undergo background checks and pre-employment drug testing.
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging as part of tank fabrication.
• Operate power tools, grinders, and lifting equipment safely.
• Weld plates using 7018, 7024, and 6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Maintain safety training, site-specific protocols, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with crew, follow directions, and complete duties as assigned.
