Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is a nationwide tank construction company seeking a full-time Tank Builder / Welder to support projects across the United States. The role emphasizes welding, fabrication, and on-site teamwork to deliver above-ground storage tanks and related structures.

Candidates should be able to operate heavy equipment, wear safety gear, and follow detailed drawings. PTS values integrity, safety, and professional development across a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Welding ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting, gouging, and welding of tanks and structures.
• Operate generators, compressors, jacks, grinders, and other power tools.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan sequencing of welds.
• Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks on schedule.
• Perform non-destructive tests and inspections as needed.
• Adapt to job site conditions and safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
