Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder/Welder to support nationwide tank construction and repair projects. The role requires welding expertise, safety focus, and the ability to work across multiple sites with a crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc welding, torch cutting, gouging, and related fabrication tasks.
• Operate generators, compressors, tuggers, grinders, and power tools.
• Weld plate using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Assist with rigging, lifting, and moving tanks and components.
• Read erection and fabrication drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Complete safety analyses, site trainings, and job safety audits.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects per spec.
