Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is seeking a Tank Builder/Welder for nationwide projects. The role involves welding, cutting, and assembling above-ground storage tanks across various sites. A strong safety mindset and reliable attendance are essential.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be eligible to work in the United States. Willingness to travel and perform physically demanding tasks is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform arc and torch cutting and gouging.
• Operate generators, compressors, tuggers, blowers, grinders, and power/air tools.
• Weld steel plates using 7018, 7024, 6010 SMAW, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Use lifting gear and tanks-specific equipment for assembly and repair.
• Read detailed fabrication drawings and plan welding sequences.
• Complete safety analyses, site trainings, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete tank construction and repairs.
