Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Tank Builder / Welder (Nationwide) to assemble and weld above-ground steel storage tanks. You will operate arc welding processes, read detailed drawings, and follow safety procedures on diverse project sites across the country.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform arc/welding tasks including cutting, gouging, and welding of tanks.
• Operate power tools, generators, torches, grinders, and lifting equipment.
• Weld plate using 7018, 7024, 6010, FCAW, and submerged arc processes.
• Read and follow erection and fabrication drawings; plan sequence of work.
• Complete safety analyses, site-specific training, and safety audits.
• Collaborate with crew members to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
