Job summary

Ottimate in Tampa, FL is seeking an IT Support Specialist to scale internal systems. This in-person role reports to the IT Lead and keeps people productive, systems secure, and operations running smoothly.

You’ll manage Google Workspace, laptops, audits, and the SaaS stack while collaborating with security, people ops, and finance. You’ll handle onboarding/offboarding, endpoint management across Mac/Windows/Linux, VPN, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT support or systems administration experience.
• Hands-on Google Workspace administration.
• Familiarity with IdPs and configuring SSO/MFA.
• Experience administering SaaS tools and licenses.
• Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets/Excel).
• Excellent written communication for remote collaboration.
• Proactive, security-minded with least-privilege access.
• Experience managing cross-OS endpoints and VPN access.

Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace and IAM with MFA/SSO.
• Manage laptop inventory, procurement, and lifecycle.
• Support SOC 2/HIPAA/PCI DSS audits with evidence gathering.
• Handle IT requests via intake, triage, escalation, and resolution.
• Maintain clear, structured documentation and runbooks.
• Configure and maintain VPN access for remote workers.
• Manage MDM and device provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, people ops, and finance.
