Job summary

Veho is seeking a leadership-minded Head of Talent/People Operations in New York to build and scale programs across Total Rewards, Experience, Systems, AI, and Analytics. You will shape talent standards, drive ROI on people investments, and lead a six-person team in a fast-growth logistics tech environment.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in business operations or program management, with a track record of designing and launching programs that raise performance standards.
• Experience launching company-wide initiatives from concept to completion, independently and with technical specialists.
• Ability to align hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, and offboarding as a continuous loop.

Responsibilities

• Set the priority list for what to build in talent systems and programs, define metrics, identify gaps, and execute fixes.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to measure new hires and optimize onboarding and first 90 days.
• Design performance reviews, calibration sessions, and clear standards; train managers to spot top performers and address underperformance early.
• Finalize and maintain compensation structure, pay bands, and merit/promotion guidelines; oversee benefits strategy.
• Manage HRIS, data integrations, and dashboards; implement AI to automate repetitive HR tasks.
• Lead a team of about six people across Total Rewards, Employee Experience, People Systems, AI and Analytics.
