Job summary

Veho is transforming the delivery experience with a hands-on Lead, Talent Business Partner for Ground Operations. You’ll manage employee relations, coach frontline leaders, and strengthen warehouse culture while partnering with operations to ensure workforce stability and safety.

You will spend time in warehouses, engage with employees across shifts, and leverage data and AI tools to streamline People processes and improve the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Employee relations expertise: manage investigations, complaints, disciplinary matters, and complex workplace issues.
• Hourly workforce experience: support frontline, non-exempt, shift-based populations.
• Sound judgment and high EQ: build trust, handle sensitive situations, fair decisions under pressure.
• Performance management: challenge managers, coach through difficult conversations, ensure issues are addressed.
• Operational understanding: balance business priorities with employee needs in frontline work.
• Analytical skills: interpret workforce trends and use data for practical solutions.
• Ownership and execution: manage competing priorities, follow through across locations.
• Employment practices knowledge: wage/hour, leave, accommodations, and protections for hourly workers.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage employee relations across assigned locations, including investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Coach leaders on applying policies consistently and documenting concerns.
• Identify recurring issues and partner with site leadership to address root causes.
• Raise performance standards and develop frontline leaders using Veho's A Player framework.
• Build trust through regular visits and proactive engagement with warehouse staff.
• Use data and technology to improve People support and reduce manual work.
