Job summary

Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the hiring and pre-boarding process. You will partner with recruiters to manage workflow, ensure a positive candidate and manager experience, and maintain data accuracy within the ATS.

The role requires strong administrative skills, customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site position within the Employee Service Center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with at least two years of admin support experience, or five years in recruitment admin.
• At least three years in a busy, fast-paced environment, preferably HR, customer service, or hospitality.
• Strong customer service skills and experience handling difficult conversations.
• Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain, and ensure data integrity in the applicant tracking system.
• Maintain candidate statuses and ATS accuracy.
• Build solid working relations with hiring managers, recruiters, applicants and new hires.
• Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and updates.
• Collect and track pre-employment documents for compliance.
• Troubleshoot employment clearance issues and resolve promptly.
• Meet with new hires to complete I-9 and license checks.
• Assist with training staff and recruitment events.
• Generate ATS reports for departments and provide reports.
• Cover front desk as needed.
