Job summary

Lapel is hiring a Recruiter in San Francisco to own end-to-end hiring across technical and non-technical roles. You’ll partner with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements, build pipelines, and ensure a high-touch candidate experience from first contact to offer.

You’ll design sourcing strategies, streamline processes, and help shape Lapel’s people function. This is a hands-on role at a fast-moving startup with meaningful equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience across technical and non-technical roles.
• Own hiring end-to-end, not just coordination.
• Strong judgment of talent and cross-functional calibration.
• Sourcing creatively beyond job postings.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline across all open positions.
• Streamline and evolve hiring process to raise speed and quality.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
• Drive a consistent, high-touch candidate experience from first contact to offer.
• Develop sourcing strategies to expand reach beyond inbound.
• Maintain and improve evaluation and calibration across the team.
• Support broader people function including compensation benchmarking and HR systems.
