Job summary

EchoStar seeks a strategic, high-ownership expert to lead enterprise-wide assessment and survey strategy within Talent Development. You will bridge behavioral science with business operations, shaping tools from pre-hire screening to engagement that are ethical, valid, and actionable.

You will partner with Talent Development to integrate data into hiring, leadership programs, and succession planning, ensuring a whole-person view of our talent pipeline and ongoing trend analysis.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and implementing selection assessment processes and development programs.
• Deep understanding of survey methodology, psychometrics, and the Employee Experience ecosystem.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, persuasive insights for senior leaders.
• Ownership mindset to drive ethics and ROI of assessment tools.
• Knowledge of EEOC guidelines, adverse impact analysis, and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assessment Architecture: Design, launch, and manage a comprehensive selection and development assessment program.
• Employee Experience Strategy: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of our employee voice strategy and surveys.
• Stakeholder Empowerment: Create training/resources to help leaders use results ethically and effectively.
• Insight into Action: Help executives interpret survey results and drive action plans.
• Integrated Talent Strategy: Align assessment data with hiring, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Trend Monitoring: Track IO psychology trends and vendor landscape to keep programs current.
