Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply’s Distribution Center in Cartersville, GA seeks a Talent Specialist to support day-to-day HR transactions, recruit and onboard hourly staff, and help drive the talent strategy with the Talent Leader and leadership team.

You will maintain HR records in the HRIS, manage payroll for the DC, and advise on employment law while developing programs to promote a culture of care, safety and excellence across the facility.

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR-related experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices
• Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple operations
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/rotating shifts
• Occasional travel
• Experience with investigations (accidents/harassment)
• Experience recruiting and developing a diverse team
• Understanding of labor legislation
• Ability to lead through change management
• Proficient communication in English (reading/writing/speaking)

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment initiatives, coordinating interview logistics and conducting interviews for hourly staff
• Maintain HR records in the HR system and provide data-driven insights
• Drive employee engagement and promote Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety and excellence
• Advise on employment law, regulations, performance, morale, and policies
• Run payroll administration for the DC and resolve issues for staff/leaders
• Ensure legal compliance with federal and state requirements
• Plan and facilitate new hire orientation and training sessions
• Support growth and future DC openings with interview events and onboarding
• Perform other duties as needed
