Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Talent Specialist to support the DC talent team in Cartersville, GA. You will manage HR records, payroll, onboarding, and training while collaborating with leadership to drive talent strategy and culture.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HR, strong knowledge of HR policies, and the ability to lead through change, with willingness to travel and adapt to a fast-paced food service distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR experience or more is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and practices.
• Ability to build relationships and influence across multiple operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
• Experience with investigations including accidents and harassment.
• Experience recruiting and developing a diverse team.
• Understanding of labor legislation.
• Ability to lead through change management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Talent Leader in recruiting initiatives to staff DC operations, coordinate interview logistics and conduct interviews for hourly roles.
• Maintain HR records in the HR system and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
• Drive employee engagement across DC departments and promote Chick-fil-A Supply values of care, safety, and excellence.
• Advise team members on employment law, regulations, performance, policies.
• Manage payroll administration for the DC and resolve issues for staff and leaders.
• Ensure legal compliance with federal/state requirements with Legal and Talent Leader collaboration.
• Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation and training sessions.
• Support growth by participating in interview events and onboarding for openers, including temporary talent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
