Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks a Scheduling Lead to align talent with client needs in Evansville, IN. The role involves forecasting hours, tracking utilization, and coordinating with Engagement teams to ensure accurate reporting and staffing.

You will leverage MS Office, especially Excel, and AI tools to optimize productivity and capacity planning. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant scheduling experience and hold a Bachelor's Degree; CPA or RMCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including efficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas.
• Experience and knowledge using AI tools to improve efficiency, support data analysis, and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Schedule talent to client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and needs.
• Forecast hours and monitor utilization and headcount with scheduling tools.
• Identify solutions for open needs and proactively surface alternatives.
• Maintain an updated scheduling system with realistic information for reporting and forecasting.
• Understand staff skills and career goals to align client assignments.
• Monitor current and future capacity and needs.
• Analyze data trends on availability, utilization, and variance.
• Collaborate with leaders to align with strategy.
• Build relationships with client teams and internal firm services.
• Promote firm-wide talent deployment and coach junior staff.
