Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP seeks a Talent Scheduling Specialist to align staffing with client needs within the Talent Alignment Group. You will schedule assignments, forecast hours, and collaborate with engagement teams to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.

The role focuses on utilization metrics, capacity planning, and proactive problem-solving with senior leadership. A strong Excel skill set and 5+ years of relevant experience are required; CPA or RMCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
• Experience with AI tools to improve efficiency and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling talent to client assignments based on timing, travel, levels, skills, and requirements.
• Forecasting hours and tracking utilization to ensure work is distributed.
• Identify solutions to open needs and proactively surface alternative solutions.
• Maintain an updated scheduling system with realistic information for accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Understand staff skills, experiences and career goals to align client assignments.
• Monitor capacity and future staffing needs.
