Job summary

Turkey Hill is expanding nationwide and seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support operations staffing, onboarding and new hire orientation. You will partner with hiring managers to forecast needs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the recruitment lifecycle.

You will also assist with onboarding, support timeclock biometric procedures, I-9, and HRIS setup. The role requires collaboration with HR and Operations and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience in HR, preferably recruiting/staffing.
• Understanding of state and federal employment laws and legal hiring practices.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to organize and prioritize complex projects.
• Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG, is strongly desired; MS 365/Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary source of knowledge related to Operations staffing and fulfill staffing needs.
• Establish staffing requirements by meeting with hiring managers and reporting on openings.
• Pre-qualify candidates via resumes, phone-screens, interviews, and record actions in the recruiting database.
• Assist with onboarding for temporary assignments and direct hires, including background checks and HRIS setup.
• Support orientation by overseeing timeclock biometric scanning and I-9 support.
• Source talent through various channels and manage social media recruiting content.
• Collaborate with Operational and HR teams to implement process improvements.
• Present offers and compensation practices, emphasizing benefits and perks.
