Job summary

LandCare is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner with hiring managers in attracting and identifying top talent, with a focus on college recruitment and proactive sourcing. The role includes managing talent pipelines and collaborating with leadership on succession planning and internal promotions.

You will continually improve recruiting processes across supported divisions, train leaders in interviewing techniques, and contribute to a strong benefits package and team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to build trusting, long-lasting relationships and enjoy networking and supporting people.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Desire for continuous learning and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates using multiple channels and connect with hiring managers.
• Maintain and utilize the Applicant Tracking System to manage applicants.
• Track market trends to stay current with recruiting best practices.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, administer pre-employment assessments, and present offers.
• Guide leaders on effective interviewing strategies and training.
• Coordinate college recruiting events and internships/management training programs.
