Job summary

Advanced Facility Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in San Jose, CA. You will partner with branch leaders to fill roles across four offices, craft engaging postings, and actively source candidates to align with our project teams.

You will manage interviews, offers, onboarding handoff, and maintain candidate records in our ATS while tracking time-to-fill and channel effectiveness. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• At least two years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience managing multiple openings and competing priorities.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to finding candidates beyond incoming applications.
• Strong organization and consistent follow-through.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and common office software.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential information.
• The ability to work independently while keeping HR and hiring managers informed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and priorities across all offices.
• Write and maintain clear job postings on LinkedIn, Wizehire, Indeed, and other platforms.
• Actively source candidates through job boards, referrals, trade schools, and direct outreach.
• Recruit for positions such as project managers, carpenters, maintenance technicians, and more.
• Review applications and conduct phone/video interviews for suitability and compensation expectations.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and follow up with candidates.
• Support hiring managers in timely, informed selection decisions.
• Coordinate approved offers and onboarding handoff to HR.
• Maintain candidate records in our ATS and track recruiting metrics.
• Identify hiring obstacles and recommend improvements.
