Job summary

UNKNOWN is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for construction roles. You will partner with hiring managers, design job descriptions, coordinate interviews, benchmark salaries, and extend offers while onboarding new hires effectively.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in recruitment, strong construction sector knowledge, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel. This is a full-time, in-person role requiring travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter (in-house or staffing agency).
• Construction experience required; specifically with datacenters, underground utility construction and telecommunications.
• Industry knowledge of construction trades and management roles (e.g., project managers, estimators, site supervisors).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and complete projects.
• Full time in-person position.
• Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
• Develop and update job descriptions and specifications.
• Full cycle recruiting including interview coordination, salary benchmarking, offers, and onboarding support.
• Source and recruit candidates using all available resources including social networks, LinkedIn and job boards.
• Collaborate with management to define current and future staffing needs.
• Identify top candidates and build a strong construction talent pipeline.
• Develop networks with construction professionals to source top talent.
• Provide HR support across the business including onboarding and a seamless experience.
• Stay informed on construction industry trends and all roles within the sector.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
