Job summary

Vistal is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to uncover, engage, and hire skilled field talent across oil & gas, survey, construction engineering, and telecommunications. You’ll own end-to-end recruiting, from outreach to onboarding, and build proactive pipelines in competitive markets.

You’ll partner with leaders, source creatively beyond LinkedIn, and influence hiring strategies with market insights while ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliant hiring practices.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting technician, field, skilled trade, construction, utility, telecommunications, oil & gas, survey, or similar hands‑on technical talent.
• Ability to manage multiple open roles with changing priorities while running full-cycle recruiting.
• Comfort with creative sourcing beyond a single platform and building market relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring leaders to define what great talent looks like and where to find it.
• Own the recruiting process from initial outreach through offer and onboarding.
• Build active pipelines for technician and field roles in competitive markets.
• Source through job boards, referrals, trade schools, workforce partners, associations, social media, agencies, events, and direct outreach.
• Create a candidate experience that is responsive, respectful, and easy to navigate.
• Bring market insights and practical sourcing ideas to hiring managers.
• Support employment branding and process improvements for compliant hiring.
