Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to keep recruiting activities organized and moving forward. In partnership with recruiters, hiring leaders, and Talent Acquisition teams, you will coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, maintain accurate recruiting records, and support hiring events and day-to-day recruitment operations.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Experience with Excel, Power Point and Workday is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intake meetings, phone screens, and interviews, including scheduling, calendar management, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling.
• Respond to routine candidate and hiring-team inquiries with timely updates and route complex questions to the recruiter.
• Support high-volume and entry-level recruiting through approved phone screens, resume reviews, and video interview reviews.
• Complete approved job postings and routine Workday tasks while maintaining accurate candidate records and trackers.
• Support recruiting campaigns and hiring events through registration management, communications, and logistics.
• Coordinate candidate travel and reimbursement activities and provide administrative support for agency candidates.
