Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Norfolk, VA to partner with hiring managers and HRBPs to anticipate hiring needs and identify strategic recruiting solutions. You will manage the recruitment process for open positions across units, focus on diverse, high-value candidates, and lead proactive sourcing.

The role requires 2+ years HR plus 3-5 years recruiting; healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years HR experience with a Bachelor's degree, or four years with a HS Diploma/GED.
• 3-5 years of recruitment experience preferred.
• Recruitment in healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience with high-volume recruitment and hard-to-fill roles.
• Sourcing experience required.
• Ability to attend recruitment events (Virginia/North Carolina).

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment process for all open positions in assigned units.
• Identify and tap into new sourcing resources.
• Engage in tactical and strategic sourcing for top talent.
• Execute and facilitate overall recruitment strategy including screening and interviewing.
• Project future employment needs and improve the employment process.
• Lead projects and handle high-volume/ hard-to-fill positions.
