Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcer) to partner with hiring managers and HR to anticipate hiring needs and identify strategic sourcing resources. You will manage the recruitment process for open positions, focusing on proactive sourcing to fill high-value roles.

Responsibilities include screening, interviewing, and testing, with opportunities to lead projects and support a large, varied slate of positions.

Qualifications

• Two years of HR experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or four years with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in Recruitment (Corporate, Health Plans, Healthcare) preferred.
• Candidates near Hampton Roads (within 50 miles of Virginia Beach) preferred for events.
• Experience building Talent Pool and using CRM to source pipelines.

Overview

Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcer)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify strategic recruiting solutions to meet those needs. This role manages the recruitment process for all open positions in assigned business units with a focus on identifying and tapping into new sourcing resources and utilize proactive techniques to recruit diverse, high value candidates. Engage in tactical and strategic sourcing to help business units proactively source and place top talent.

Executes and facilitates the overall recruitment strategy, including screening, interviewing and testing while serving as a strategic partner to hiring managers. Participates in projecting future employment needs, creating recruitment plans, and improving the employment process. This role may lead projects and excels at maintaining and successfully addressing a high load of positions, a variety of positions and/or hard to fill positions in the areas of greatest need.

Education

• HS Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Experience

• Two years of Human Resources experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED are required. Recruitment experience is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Recruitment (Corporate, Health Plans, Healthcare) strongly preferred
• Candidates in the Hampton Roads geographic footprint ( within 50 miles of 1330 Sentara Park, Virginia Beach), strongly preferred to attend recruitment events
• Previous experience organizing, hosting virtual and in-person recruitment events and ability to travel to events
• Experience building Talent Pool, experience with CRM tools to build talent pipeline

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $68,598.40 - $103,396.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
