City of New York is seeking a Talent Operations Specialist within the People & Culture unit to manage full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, screening, and onboarding. You will work closely with hiring managers to develop sourcing plans, coach on salary decisions, and ensure a smooth candidate experience.

The role requires knowledge of NYC civil service rules, commitment to equity and inclusion, and the ability to use data to improve hiring efficiency across diverse roles in the agency.

Formación

• Knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices (sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding).
• Experience coaching hiring managers through salary discussions and hiring packets.
• End-to-end recruitment lifecycle experience and applicant experience focus.
• Ability to build diverse pipelines and partner with external vendors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and facilitate recruitment intake meetings with hiring managers; explain process and support needs.
• Coach managers on salary, responsibilities, hiring exercises, and packet alignment.
• Screen candidates, schedule interviews, and communicate with applicants.
• Coordinate offers, negotiations, onboarding, and candidate experience.
• Ensure compliance with NYC civil service requirements and NYC EEO policy.
