Mortenson is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to guide and scale experienced and craft recruiting functions in support of a fast-growing business. You will lead leaders, translate enterprise talent strategy into execution, and build the capabilities, structure, and processes needed to drive sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field; equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing recruiting teams.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders to build workforce plans and recruiting strategies.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes and ATS/tools.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience designing scalable hiring programs in high-growth or complex environments.
• Commitment to inclusive hiring and building diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle professional recruiting processes, track performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop Talent Acquisition supervisors and recruiters.
• Assess leadership capabilities, strengthen succession and talent pipelines.
• Establish direction, operating rhythms, and accountability across a large, dispersed TA organization.
• Lead through leaders, coaching teams and translating strategy into execution.
• Navigate growth and ambiguity, adapt recruiting strategies and resources to support business growth.
• Partner with senior leaders to align recruiting strategies with Mortenson’s priorities and workforce needs.
• Design scalable recruiting processes with TA Operations while maintaining candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Advance employer brand and candidate experience through consistent messaging and inclusive recruiting practices.
• Collaborate with L&D, DEI, and HR to ensure a cohesive talent strategy across attraction, development, and retention.
• Provide thought leadership on industry trends to keep Mortenson competitive in talent acquisition.
